Diageo have awarded Trammell Crow Savills (TCS) with a contract for the provision of high quality Facilities Management services at the company’s Park Royal brewery, in addition to the services already provided to their two high-quality offices in central London and at Park Royal.
The landmark 300,000 sq.ft brewery was constructed in 1936 and supplies Guinness to customers across the UK. The brewery is on an estate of 74 acres, including its own road network and power station.
The brewery produces around 10,000 hectolitres of Guinness per day, which equates to around 1.8 million pints per day, around 20% of the total consumption of Guinness
around the world.
TCS provide a vital service in ensuring that the facilities and services are managed efficiently and with all due care and attention in order to provide a quality service to the staff on-site and hence support the business-critical 24/7 production process.
During 2003, TCS have acted as Managing Agent on behalf of Diageo. From January 2004, TCS will become Prime Contractor for Diageo’s London property portfolio of more than 500,000 sq.ft, managing services at offices in central London, a purpose built office building at Park Royal as well as the Guinness Brewery.
