Edinburgh House - Germany, €100 Million Portfolio

Edinburgh House has expanded into Europe with the acquisition of over €100 million of property in Germany.
The London based development and investment company has purchased a 457,481 sq ft (42,500 sq m) logistics facility from Tchibo in a sale and leaseback for in excess of €50 million at Gallin, near Hamburg.
The Rathaus Gallerie, a mixed-use shopping centre in Wuppertal near Dusseldorf, has also been acquired from a private vendor, advised by Jones Lang LaSalle, for in excess of €50 million. The 242,196 sq ft (22,500 sq m) property includes office and residential space.
Tony Quayle of Edinburgh House comments: "Expansion into European markets has been a key focus for the business and our no-nonsense approach has helped us achieve our recent German acquisitions.
"We are excited about future prospects in Europe and have a further €150 million of deals in hand."
Atisreal advised Edinburgh House at Gallin, while Tchibo was unrepresented. Edinburgh House was unrepresented at Wuppertal.
