Standard Life Investments - Offices Letting - Madrid, Spain, Parque Empresarial Las Mercedes

Standard Life Investments, owners of the award-winning Parque Empresarial Las Mercedes in Madrid, has announced that a prestigious new letting has resulted in 42% of the space at the 74,000 sq m Park being let.

The lease has been signed with Spanish government agency, Agencia Espanola de Medicamentos y Productos, who are taking an entire building comprising 14,179 sq m on a 10 year term.

Announcing the deal, Martin McGuire, European Investment Director at Standard Life Investments, said: "We are delighted to welcome this prestigious new tenant to Parque Empresarial Las Mercedes. They will be locating their headquarters and administrative offices here and join an already impressive list of blue chip tenants who include Electrolux, Altran, interior designers Gaston y Daniela and ABN Amro. The letting to the Spanish government agency takes our total surface area let to close to half of the total amount of space available and interest in what remains is strong, demonstrating the appeal of the environment, specification and location of Parque Empresarial Las Mercedes which is on the A2 Madrid-Barcelona motorway opposite Barajas international airport."
