Savills - Industrial Sale - Iver, Britten-Norman Group Flies into Iver

Date: 02 Nov 2006

Britten-Norman Group, advised by Savills, has acquired the freehold interest in Unit 4, Orbital 46, Ridgeway Trading Estate, Iver, Buckinghamshire from a private client of Jansons and Partners for £1.45 million.

Aircraft manufacturer and parts supplier Britten-Norman Group will occupy the 11,800 sq ft (1,096 sq m) property, including first floor offices and an extended yard, at a sum equating to £128 per sq ft (£1,378 per sq m). The company, based on the Isle of Wight, has acquired the unit as a storage and distribution warehouse facility for its aircraft supplies across South East England.

Richard Sullivan, director of Savills' industrial agency team, says: "There is a distinct shortage of good quality freehold units of this size in West London and we were pleased to be able to acquire this unit on competitive terms."
