Slough Estates Group - Appointment - Winnersh, Wokingham

Date: 20 May 2008

SEGRO has appointed Simon Maltby to the newly created position of Business Park Manager at Winnersh Triangle. Working next to the new Winnersh Triangle marketing suite, Simon will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction from all existing and future occupiers.

As the first point of contact for occupiers, as well as the local community, Simon will be responsible for ensuring all stakeholders are provided with up-to-date information about the £100 million Phase One redevelopment of Winnersh Triangle.

Other key responsibilities entail monitoring new occupiers' offices fit outs, managing occupiers requirements from signage to telecom and internet needs, appointing and overseeing of contractors and suppliers, enforcing Health and Safety requirements and resolving any customer queries.

Simon has vast experience of managing business centres having spent eight years at the Easthampstead Park Conference Centre where he worked his way from a Front of House Manager to General Manager. Simon has also held various Front of House Manager and Deputy Manager positions at a variety of business centres since 1996.

Simon will be reporting directly to Vicky Patterson, SEGRO's Regional Manager. Vicky Comments: "We are delighted to have Simon onboard and I am confident, judging from his previous track record, that he will deliver the best customer service for our occupiers. Customers will be able to get everything they need to know about Winnersh Triangle from Simon. Simon will also be able to personally assist all new occupiers with their transition to our business park and help customise their offices to the work environment they desire."

Winnersh Triangle is immediately adjacent to the A329(M), one mile from Junction 10 of the M4 and is bordered by the Reading-Waterloo line with its own railway station. The site is also well served by bus, having a 10-minute shuttle service to Central Reading. Winnersh Triangle is only 37 miles from Central London by road and 20 miles from the M25.

The first phase is part of wider improvements planned for the 80 acre (32 hectare) site, which will see Winnersh Triangle transformed into a state-of-the-art business park, increasing its available floor space by approx 50% to two million sq ft, creating a modern, dynamic environment for businesses.
