Ryden - Industrial Sale - Southport, Merseyside

With Leeds-based Ryden acting, City Holdings has sold its site at Wennington Road in Southport to owner occupier Unipart Rail for £2.95 million. The site was sold with vacant possession.

Previous occupier CBES Limited, a construction and engineering services specialist, has subsequently relocated to three units at Lea Green Business Park in St Helens. An average rent of £4.72 per sq ft was achieved on the units which extend to 14,548 sq ft.

Lucy Broady, senior surveyor at Ryden, said: "The site sale is significant for Southport, allowing Unipart Rail to retain employment facilities in the area. There were no other facilities of this size available that Unipart could have moved to."

Ryden acted for CBES at Lea Green Business Park; Unipart Rail was self-represented in the purchase of the Wennington Road site.
