Innes England acting on behalf of the landlord have recently let a substantial distribution depot set within 3.2 acres at Melbourne Road in Lount.

Eurokey Recycling Ltd has taken on the premises which extend to some 37,000 sq ft. A family-run business based in Enderby, their recycling and reclamation operations cover the whole of the United Kingdom, Ireland and South Africa.

Since 1995, the organisation has built an excellent reputation being at the forefront of the move towards achieving more sustainable use of raw materials through the recovery, recycling and the minimisation of products and materials going into final waste disposal.

Simon Higgs of Eurokey Recycling said: "We were attracted to the development as it provides us with an excellent sized site in good location, which is ideal for our business."

"We operate our own fleet of vehicles and offer customers on site storage, so location and space were prime requirements for our new premises. We are delighted to be able to further expand our operations from our base in Leicestershire."

The sought after location is strategically located on the A42 which offer easy access to the East and West Midlands via the M42 and the M1.

Steve Scott from Innes England, agents for the site added: "The development attracted a great deal of interest as there has been shortage of available industrial sites in the region.

"Eurokey Recycling has taken a three year lease with an option to purchase the site with a long-term plan to fully redevelop the site."
