Atisreal - Leisure Letting - Swindon, Princes Street

Date: 12 Jun 2008

The New Swindon Company has appointed Atisreal's Bristol office to offer the former Mecca Bingo Club on Princes Street, Swindon to the market on a short-term letting basis.

The club, which was closed and sold to The New Swindon Company in April as part of Mecca's reappraisal of its property portfolio, provides 16,231 sq ft (1,509 sq m) of leisure space, arranged over ground, mezzanine and first floors.

Andrew Scott of Atisreal comments: "The premises is in an excellent, prominent location in Swindon town centre and would perfectly suit tenants from the entertainment industry looking for the flexibility that a short-term letting can provide."

The property forms part of The New Swindon Company's, delivering on behalf of Swindon Borough Council, regeneration plans for the town centre, with the intention to improve both Clarence Street and Princes Street and provide a better pedestrian linkage to the library and Town Hall Square.
