dohertybaines has arranged a lease surrender for its national client O2 and a new 20 years lease to Selco the builders merchant on 54,563 sq ft warehouse close to Leeds United Football Club.

Selco is taking a lease on Unit 5 on Elland Road Industrial Estate. The building was jointly marketed by JLL and dohertybaines. They agreed a rent with Selco of £4.75 per sq ft.

dohertybaines surveyor Paul Londra said: "Our client O2 had three years remaining on their lease. We agreed a surrender with the landlord AXA and the granting of a new 20 year lease to Selco.

"This was a great deal for all parties: our client, Selco and the landlord. dohertybaines has a number of other properties under offer and continues to receive strong demand from good quality tenants for good quality industrial premises."
