CNP - General - Wales, Snowdon

Date: 04 Jul 2008

A team from the Esher office of building and project consultancy CNP has raised more then £3,000 for the charity REGAIN, by taking part in the Snowdonia Charity Challenge.

REGAIN is the only charitable organisation dedicated solely to supporting those who become tetraplegic as a result of sporting accidents. The CNP team, comprising John Munday, Tina Davis, Gavin McCosh and Dan Fitch completed the 40 mile circular cycle route; a climb up Snowdon, followed by canoeing across Lake Padarn, in a total of 7 hours 58 minutes.

Minimum sponsorship for event entry was £1800, but CNP has already raised more than £3,000 via its website, raffles and a special quiz night. The company plans to raise further funds for the charity by taking bids from team members and clients for CNP executives Andrew Chisholm and David Nurser to act as their 'Slave for a Day'. More details to come as the bidding increases.
