Jomast Developments has embarked upon a major refurbishment that will transform a former Victorian property in Jesmond into one of Newcastle's most prestigious office buildings.

Construction work on Clayton House will create approximately 11,000 sq ft of high quality office accommodation over three storeys and include a subterranean level opening onto private gardens.

Stockton-based Jomast Developments has worked closely with Newcastle City Council to develop proposals that successfully combine original Victorian architecture with modern commercial interiors. Work on the detached property is due to be completed later this year.

Mark Hill, Commercial Property Manager at Jomast Developments explained, "Clayton House is situated in a conservation area so it is important that the development remains in-keeping with the local surroundings. We are restoring the exterior of the building and matching new materials to existing features, enabling us to create a prestigious property for commercial use.
