Savills - General - Newbury, Kennet Shopping Centre

International real estate advisor Savills has recently been appointed by the Newbury Unit Trust to manage the Kennet Shopping Centre in Newbury. This instruction is in addition to the existing leasing agent role held by Savills at the scheme.


Located in the heart of Newbury, the Kennet Shopping Centre is the prime retail destination in the town. With over 50 stores including Debenhams, New Look, T K Maxx, Superdrug and Laura Ashley, the scheme totals approximately 200,000 sq ft (18,580 sq m). There is also a new 'leisure box' anchored by Vue totalling approximately 35,000 sq ft (3,251 sq m) opening in November 2009.
