Transformation of Sheffield skyscraper creates stylish office space.
Sheffield, UK - Work has started on a multi-million pound refurbishment of one of Sheffield's tallest city centre office buildings.
City Plaza, which stands at 42 metres tall, is undergoing an extensive renovation through developers CBRE Investors to significantly improve its appearance and bring its office suites up to grade A modern day standards.
Key elements in the refurbishment programme include glass panelled offices overlooking a landscaped courtyard, plus a state-of-the-art reception area, and a glazed frontage around the ground floor and new lifts and stairs.

The refurbishment will provide two separate offerings including conventional open plan accommodation at the front of the building with smaller suites at the back of the courtyard undergoing a stylish conversion, in one of the key elements of the refurbishment project.
The suites, which start at 1,612 sq ft (150 sq m), will include air conditioning and feature vaulted ceilings with modern downlighters, completed to a high grade specification. Each space has been designed on the basis of a studio concept with modern finishes throughout. And the offices will still benefit from essentials including comfort cooling and VDU compatible lighting.
