Artist takes up residence at Bond's Mill.
Landlord Bond's Mill Estate Limited (a wholly owned subsidiary of the Robert Hitchins Group) is delighted to announce that Frost Creative are the latest company to sign up for space at the Bond's Mill Estate in Stonehouse.
Frost Creative has taken a three year lease on a 590 sq ft ground floor studio in The Gallery. The property was let by property consultants Alder King.
Frost Creative is owned by Helen Frost, a local artist. Helen commented: "I am thrilled to have found such an inspiring studio space; it has a high ceiling open to the massive wooden beams above and tall arched windows, almost to full height. The walls are exposed brick, stone and render, with beautiful colours and textures.
"The site has lovely rural views and historic mill architecture; it's an incredible place to work, I'm really excited to have such an amazing opportunity."
Emma Smith, surveyor at Alder King said: "When Helen saw the property with its original features and natural lighting, she asked Robert Hitchins to leave it in its original state, which made it perfect for her to use as an artist's studio."
Bond's Mill was formerly one of the major woollen mills in the Stroud Valleys. It is just 1.3 miles from Junction 13 of the M5 and within easy reach of other commercial/ business areas.
