New investment appointment at DTZ.

DTZ has boosted its investment team in the north east with the appointment of Tom Elviss as a senior surveyor.

Bringing with him four years of experience, Tom specialises in acquisitions, disposals and development advice and was involved in six transactions during 2009 with a total value of over £250 million. Tom has advised organisations including PRUPIM, Aviva Investors, Warner Estate, CBRE Investors, Invista and Threadneedle.

Based in Newcastle, Tom will work with DTZ's investment team to develop and expand the business across the region.

Tom completed a postgraduate degree in Newcastle and has returned to the city from London where he was a senior surveyor with Jones Lang LaSalle.
