Brasserie Blanc to open London restaurant.

twentyretail have acquired the first site in Central London for Brasserie Blanc within the redevelopment of the former Stock Exchange at the junction of Threadneedle Street and Old Broad Street, near to Bank station, London EC2.

Brasserie Blanc have taken Unit 1, facing Threadneedle Street, comprising a ground floor area of 3,468 sq ft with a further 500 sq ft at mezzanine level. The restaurant will have 100 covers at ground floor, 40 covers on the mezzanine level and a further 24 outside.

Brasserie Blanc was established in early 2006 and Threadneedle Street will be the seventh Brasserie in the expanding group. The company has recently completed a successful fund raising exercise which will enable it to continue to grow at a steady pace.

A new 25 year lease has been taken from Hammerson at a rent which reflects £40 psf, with terms negotiated to reflect the shell condition of the space.

The new restaurant will open in March/April 2010.

The landlords were advised by CBRE.
