Aitchison Raffety appoints John Roberts as agency manager, for M40 office.

Aitchison Raffety has appointed John Roberts as commercial agency manager, based in its recently opened Western Office. Roberts will be responsible for the letting, acquisition and sale of all commercial property instructions in the M40 corridor stretching through Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire and surrounding areas.

John Roberts brings a wealth of experience to Aitchison Raffety having had a distinguished career covering both commercial letting/acquisition departments and asset management for such companies as Dunlop Haywards, LSM Partners, Marlborough Developments, Cala Properties, the de Morgan Group and Jones Lang La Salle.

In recent years Roberts has also had his own practice asset managing property portfolios with a total value of circa £30 million.

In announcing his appointment, Mark Bunting, Head of Agency for Aitchison Raffety said: "we are delighted that John Roberts is joining Aitchison Raffety. His experience and knowledge of the local market will play a key role in expanding our agency department in the M40 corridor".

In September 2009 Aitchison Raffety opened a new Western Office at Stokenchurch bringing together its Oxford and High Wycombe staff to provide a comprehensive agency service over a wide geographical area with a particular focus on the M40 - from the M25 to Banbury.

The Western office also provides a wide range of other services including property management, valuations, business rates, landlord and tenant matters and the provision of strategic property advice. The office complements Aitchison Raffety's other main centres in London, Herts, Oxon and Bucks.
