Pizza Express Has Great Expectations For Rochester.
Pizza Express is opening in the historic town of Rochester famed for its castle, cathedral and links with Charles Dickens.
The restaurant chain is taking 2125 sq ft on the ground floor and 607 sq ft from Aaron Paul Stone Investments' 21-23 High Street, Rochester.
Pizza Express is taking a 25-year lease and is paying £18.35 per sq ft for the ground floor and £4.64 per sq ft on the basement.
Jason Grant, partner at Restaurant Property who advised Pizza Express said: "This part of Kent is under-represented by mid-point national restaurant chains.
Pizza Express is looking to gain a first move advantage by selecting a high profile site on the High Street, which is very close to all the major tourist amenities".
Walter & Randall advised Aaron Paul Stone Investments.
