Stewart Milne creates new Strategic Land division headed by Steve Loomes.

Stewart Milne Group, with 1,000 employees and a turnover of more than £350m, has announced the addition of a new Strategic Land division.

It will lead the business in its drive to significantly expand activity within this key market.

Stewart Milne Group has appointed Steve Loomes as managing director of Strategic Land.

Previously land director within the Homes North division, Steve has been successfully managing the delivery of land strategy across North East Scotland for the past five years, from site planning promotion activity to the acquisition of strategic land holdings and short term sites for the company's residential developments.

The new managing director will be supported by area directors in each region. Gavin Loudon, previously managing director of Stewart Milne Holdings, will join the new Strategic Land team as director of the West region.

Commenting on the Strategic Land division and his new role as managing director, Steve Loomes said:

Strategic Land will operate alongside the Group's existing Homes, Construction, Timber Systems, Commercial Developments and Partnerships divisions.
