io Group - Appointment - Richard Croft Promotion

Richard Croft has joined the board of The io Group Limited, the specialist industrial property asset manager, to head the expansion of the company's UK and European acquisitions programme.

Croft has been with io for 10 years and for the past 4 years has headed the UK acquisitions team - building up the portfolios of the Industrial Partnership funds.

As a board director, Croft will take on additional responsibility for European acquisitions, as part of the group's expansion into Continental Europe. This will include setting up bespoke acquisition strategies for a number of countries, establishing the io's "roadrunner database" system to source off-market acquisition opportunities.

John Sims, Managing Director of The io Group, said: "Richard has made a tremendous contribution to the growth of The io Group and we are delighted to welcome him to the board. We are looking forward to a period of substantial growth as we export our io concept to the Continent and Richard will play a key role in this process."
