MEPC - Appointment - MEPC Board changes

MEPC, plc announces that Trevor Moross will join the Board as a non-exeuctive director with immediate effect.

Mr Moross, 49, has been managing director of Dorrington Holdings PLC since 1987. Dorrington is a commercial and residential property company based in and around London. It owns around 4,000 residential units and is an active investor in the commercial property market, focused on London. He has been a director of Dorrington's parent company, Hanover Acceptances Limited, since 1981.

Mr Moross is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He has been a member of the British Property Federation General Council since 1987 and was President in 1995/6.

David Gruber, Chairman of MEPC American Properties, has confirmed that he will be formally resigning from the Board on 30 September 1998 following the successful disposal of MEPC's US portfolio earlier this year. He joined MEPC American Properties in 1980 and became President in 1983. He joined MEPC's board of directors in June 1996.
