English Partnerships Welcomes New Chairman

English Partnerships welcomes Sir Alan Cockshaw as its new Chairman following the announcement today by Richard Caborn, Minister for the Regions, Regeneration and Planning. Sir Alan Cockshaw will take up the three year post from 1 October.

Anthony Dunnett, Chief Executive of English Partnerships, commented: "This is an important and high profile appointment which will ensure that English Partnerships has an experienced leader to take us through the creation of the new Regional Development Agencies and the forthcoming merger with the Commission for the New Towns. I am delighted to welcome Sir Alan on board."
