Catella Property Consultants, the fast expanding European property consultancy group with offices in eight European countries will, effective 1st October integrate the partnership of specialist property investment advisers Skinners into their organisation.

Gordon Wood, Managing Director of Catella Property Consultants in the UK said, "The integration [of the two firms] gives an extra dimension to the UK business and adds to the full service that Catella provides throughout Europe. Skinners is recognised for the quality of its individuals and we are delighted to have taken them on board."

Skinners has funds under management approaching £200 million, and represent investment clients including Cornhill, Merchant Investors, Rothmans Pension Fund and Allianz, as well as consumers such as Pet Plan.

Skinners' skills complement Catella's asset management profile, which includes NCC, lnterikea and the National Pension Fund of Sweden.

David Skinner who together with Trevor Brown, will join the Board of Catella in the UK said, "We see the move as an opportunity to continue our brand of personal partner service to our long standing institutional, investment and occupational clients. This will now be enhanced by Catella's specialist departments and research facilities in London and Manchester and throughout their European network."

Catella Property Consultants has offices in eight European countries, and was recently ranked 9th in Europe in Estates Gazette's Property Surveyors Poll.
