Private property company, Crestaworth Limited has let the 2,483.68 sq m (26,735 sq ft) former Kwik-Save superstore at 22/30 Greyfriars in Bedford town centre in two separate deals.
QD Stores Limited has taken 2,062 sq m (22,195 sq ft) of space on the ground and part of the first floor on a new 15-year lease at a rent of £125,000 a year. QD sells clothing, housewares, toys, books and garden equipment.
Part of the first floor and the entire second floor, comprising 420.83 sq m (4,530 sq ft) has been let to Greyfriars Snooker Centre also for a 15-year term, at a rent of £16,000 pa.

Danny Wulwick, an associate director of Lee Baron, comments: "Kwik Save's lease expired at the end of June and we succeeded in completing the two lettings within ten days of that date."
