Antler Property Investments - Mixed-Use Sale - £235 million Portfolio

Antler Property Investments, the private property investment company headed by Alan Welsh, has sold a mixed property investment portfolio to Standard Life Investments for £235 million, to reflect a net initial yield of over 7%.

The portfolio comprises 16 properties of which the main assets are SmithKlineBeecham’s former headquarters at New Horizon Court, Brentford; Bathgate Retail Park, near Edinburgh; Estuary Industrial Park, Speke and Rank Xerox’s hq at Shire Park, Welwyn Garden City.

King Sturge advised Antler and Edgerley Simpson Howe & Partners represented Standard Life Investments.

Legal advisors to Standard life Investments were Addleshaw Booth & Co and Solomon Taylor Shaw acted on behalf of Antler Property Investments.
