Abstract:
Central Edinburgh saw take-up fall year on year to stand at 518,000 sq ft for 2006. Annual take-up was 17% down on the 2005 figure and just 25% below the ten year average. Demand from business services fell in the course of 2006, impacting upon transaction levels. More encouragingly, total transactional take-up, including development deals, rose by 11% to stand at 972,000 sq ft.
